Auditions

The Fort Worth Chorale is an all-volunteer, auditioned chorus with a 63-year history of choral singing at a professional level. We are a diverse group with members of different backgrounds and occupations who come from all over the Metroplex and beyond. Rehearsals take place Monday evenings August-April 7:00pm-9:30pm at Cross Church North Richland Hills.

Fort Worth Chorale Auditions for the 2025–26 Season

Fort Worth Chorale is currently accepting pre-screening video auditions for our 2025–26 season roster. We’d love to hear from experienced singers trained in classical vocal technique who are interested in joining our ensemble!

How to Audition

To be considered, please complete the audition form linked below and include a short video of yourself singing a solo piece. If your video is selected, we’ll be in touch to schedule a live audition.

There is no official deadline, but we will begin reviewing submissions starting June 16. Early submissions are encouraged.

Video Guidelines

  • Keep it simple! A 1–2 minute video recorded on your smartphone is great. You do not have to perform an entire piece.

  • Make sure your whole body is visible, and the audio is clear and balanced. If you're using accompaniment (live or recorded), just be sure it doesn’t overpower your voice.

  • We're looking for singers who use a resonant vocal tone and solid breath support — the kind of technique typically used in art song, opera, or choral masterworks. Pop or musical theater styles aren’t a match for this ensemble.

Once your video is ready, upload it to YouTube or a cloud storage platform and share the viewable link in the form. (Please ensure your sharing settings allow us to view the video.)
